Practice Overview
The Southborough Veterinary Hospital has served
Southborough, Marlborough, Hopkinton, Framingham,
Westborough, Ashland and other Boston Metrowest
Communities for close to 30 years.  Since its inception, the SVH
has provided care to the pets of the Metrowest area in a
comfortable, home-like setting. We are committed to providing
compassionate, high quality medicine to small animal patients
at all life stages.  Our patients include dogs, cats, pocket pets,
guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets and some reptiles.
SVH is involved with our community.  Each year we participate
in the Southborough rabies clinic providing low cost rabies
vaccines to cats and dogs in the local communities.  SVH also
works with several of the humane societies and rescue
groups in the area providing quality veterinary care with deep
discounts.  Our doctors have also been asked to speak in the
local school systems, which they love to do.
Dr. Ogden and Dr. Westphal took over ownership of the SVH in
1999.  Both veterinarians came to Southborough after working
for several years as associate veterinarians in other small
animal practices in Massachusetts (Randolph and Edgartown).
Dr. Ogden and Dr. Westphal met during a rigorous 13-month
internship at the prestigious Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in
Boston.  Dr. Westphal received her veterinary degree from the
University of Pennsylvania, and Dr. Ogden received her
degree from the University of Minnesota, both graduating with
high honors.  Dr. Ogden and Dr. Westphal are members of the
American Veterinary Medical Association and the
Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association.
